Qualification and Experience Required-

Suitable Master's Degree or Equivalent in Social development disciplines-Sociology/Anthropology/Social Work and or and or development studies or a related field. Minimum 10 years’ experience in preparing, implementing and monitoring social safeguards strategies.

Responsibilities :

- The responsibility includes preparing, implementing and monitoring social safeguards strategies and plans and social development schemes associated with infrastructure projects (preferably in Water Supply & Sanitation sector) and having experience in gender program development, progressively responsible for gender mainstreaming, management of strategic Capacity Building on gender.

- Should follow /have knowledge of bank procedures and reporting systems

Duty Station :

The duty station of the expert will be at Amritsar.

Remuneration :

Tentative Pay range INR 80,000-90,000 per month which is negotiable and shall commensurate with experience and qualification

Duration :

The appointment to the post will be on contract basis initially for a period of one year and likely to be extended based on the performance for subsequent year thereon. The engagement of candidate will be on full time basis.

Reporting Arrangements :

The Expert will report to the Project Manager and Superintending Engineer (Projects), Amritsar Municipal Corporation
